Are you an IT/Engineering student looking to fit experience around your studies, or a recent graduate looking for an opportunity to quickly grow your skills? This role is offered on a part time, 3-5 days per week basis, with potential for the right individual to progress further into a career within our IT business.

Tangelo are a growing IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) established for 15+ years and serving Australian, and International IT and Security industry sectors. We are a flexible, progressive workplace who maintain a positive, friendly work environment.

To be successful in this role you need:

- Be able to engage with customers on a daily basis using impeccable verbal and written English communication skills
- Ultra reliable time-keeping
- Ability to create and maintain documentation

The role involves Helpdesk duties, including:

- Provide first contact and ongoing customer service with clients to help build existing and new relationships
- Operate the Level 1 area of the ServiceDesk. Implement troubleshooting and initial solutions
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention or assistance
- Assist with setup, administration, and maintenance of a range of networks, systems, PCs, Servers, SOE, Virtual / Cloud services and Mobile devices
- Work with highly experienced Solutions Architects to maintain best practice secure environments
- Provide IT guidance and support to clients
- Document problem resolutions, system information and KB Articles

Additionally:

- Identify and engage in ways to improve ServiceDesk efficiency
- An element of project work in your role to help expand your technical abilities

The following will be highly regarded:

- Previous customer service experience or experience on an ITIL ServiceDesk
- Previous experience working within an MSP or IT support
- Working towards obtaining an IT/Engineering degree
- Industry certification e.g. Networking diploma, CompTIA, ITIL, MCP, MCSA
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Exchange Online, HyperV, Mobile device and Apple Mac products

Pay will be determined based on relevant award and experience.

Pay: $23.40 - $31.20 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
