Retail Buyer

Located in Inala, QLD, our company is operating a wholesale and retail groceries shop providing everyday produces ranging from seasonal fresh fruits,vegetables to Asian groceries.

We are looking for an experienced Retail Manager on a permanent basis to manage and negotiate price with suppliers, select and purchase various product types.

Main Duties:

- Managing and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of products
- Liaising with suppliers and negotiate price and T&C to achieve the best deals
- Managing inventory and stock stakes and determining quantity and frequency of purchase
- Analyzing past sales patterns to anticipate suitable purchase volumes
- Recommending types of product promotions, clearance sales and varying delivery schedules to help control stock levels
- Identifying and ensuring to select the best price and product quality
- Assisting in planning store layouts to promote key lines
- Monitoring and reporting on sales and adjusting types and volumes of product orders

**Requirements**:

- A tertiary qualification in relevant field and at least one year of experience in food wholesale and/or retail industry
- Substantial knowledge of food pricing
- Outstanding negotiation skills
- Intermediate computer skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
