**The Role**
Ventia is a leading maintenance service provider supporting the Australian Defence Force. Ventia are currently seeking a Storeperson to join our South Australian team.

**The responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to)**:

- Conducting stores tasks, including account management and stocktakes.
- Unload goods and check them against order forms.
- Catalogue or label items with storage details.
- Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate lists.
- Move heavy packages using forklift machinery.
- Assist with maintenance record keeping and documentation.
- Operating plant and machinery as required to perform stores tasks.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Site Supervisor or JLU Manager consistent with the employee skill and competence level.

**Skills and experience**:

- Experience in a technically related workplace. (Trade Certificate highly regarded)
- Store, Warehouse, Distribution experience. (Highly regarded)
- Possess a current Australian State or Territory licence for operating forklifts. (required)
- Possess a current Australian State or Territory class C Driver's Licence. (required)
- Possess a current State open Driver's Licence for Medium Rigid (“MR”) classes of vehicles.
- Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft Suite. (Defence systems knowledge highly regarded)

Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Negative Vetting Level 1.
As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.
