About The Role

We are excited to announce that we have three casual Production worker positions available at our Ridge St - Bega (NSW)Site.

Our Ridge Street site services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity focused on packaged, natural, and processed cheeses. These include the renowned Bega cheese blocks—mild, tasty, and vintage—shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, Colby, mozzarella, and burger slice cheeses, and an exciting new Lactose and Dairy-Free range.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role ensures that all Production functions are carried out effectively, efficiently, and timely and delivers products safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost, with mínimal waste in the correct quantity when required.

The incumbent must be highly adaptable and willing to work 8-hour night shifts between Sun and Thu. This requirement is crucial for the role and will be a key factor in the selection process.

Responsibilities- Operating production machines and performing changeover processes.- Working effectively and efficiently to reduce downtime- Reporting safety incidents and maintenance requirements- Ensuring production areas are cleaned up to quality standards- Adhering to company safety and quality policies and procedures

About you- Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is preferred- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are essential- Ability to work independently- Safety mindset and Problem-solving skills- Must be a team player
