**About the role**:
Preschools and Early Childhood Services Division provides exceptional support and advocacy for high-quality SA Government early childhood education and care services that respond to the changing needs of children, families and communities in South Australia. We work collaboratively with leaders and educators; with our colleagues across the department and across agencies, to provide high-quality and nurturing early learning and care programs, services and environments where each child can learn and thrive and are enabled to reach their full potential. The Quality Support Lead works as part of a team to provide statewide leadership, support and expertise in delivery of high quality early childhood education and care programs and plays a key role in ensuring that department preschools meet or exceed the National Quality Standard. They bring specific knowledge and expertise in preschool education, the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.

***Special conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

STL3- $ 143,545
