Music Teacher

BMS Academy in Canberra has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic music teacher, instructor or tutor for individual woodwind lessons starting in February 2025. Teachers must have completed Year 12.

**Individual Piano teacher/s**

Our individual teachers work in partnership with BMS Academy to teach individual lessons to students between the ages of 10 - adult. Lessons are generally 30 minutes long, and a teacher's schedule is approximately 6-10 lessons in a row.

We are currently looking for a woodwind teacher to take an existing schedule on Wednesday afternoons between approximately 3.30-7.00 pm. Additional schedules can also be discussed. The teacher must be able to teach clarinet, alto and tenor saxophone and must themselves be a minimum of Grade 8 AMEB level or equivalent. The ability to teach flute would be a plus.

Teachers must hold a valid ACT Working With Vulnerable Persons card.
- University music qualification preferred but not required

We ask teachers to commit to at least 12 months with BMS Academy. Lessons occur during the ACT Public School Terms.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $54.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
