Due to the imminent retirement of a team member, we are now actively seeking to appoint a (BPO) **Brake Press operator.**

**Previous Brake Press Operator experience preferred, on the job training provided.**

**About the role**:

- Set up and operate the brake press machine.
- Load tooling as per program
- Inspect metal whilst shaping it and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform run, bend and forming operations with standard and custom punches.
- Measure for quality against required tolerances.
- Check final products to ensure there are no defects.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.

**About you**:

- Brake Press operation experience preferred - Hydrabend preferred but not essential.
- Welding & metalwork experience
- Capable of using measuring equipment such as vernier calipers.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Must be a self-starter and have a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Someone who prides themselves on quality workmanship with high attention to detail.
- Forklift licence is preferred.
