Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This role involves working with elderly clients, people with disabilities, or those recovering from illness or injury in their homes or community settings.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Assist with mobility and transferring, using appropriate equipment when necessary.

Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary needs.

Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Assist with medication reminders (as per care plan).

Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, and social outings.

Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.

Follow care plans and work within health and safety regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications:
Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, or a related field (preferred but not always required).

Previous experience in a similar role (preferred).

First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (if required).

Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or ability to obtain).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $38.93 - $56.23 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
