Dispensary Technician

**Beerwah Amcal Pharmacy** is a dynamic, contemporary retail pharmacy with a focus on delivering trustworthy and modern healthcare advice, while providing excellent customer service.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, part-time Dispensary Assistant. With approximately 16-20hrs per week

**Mentoring, expanding and honing your skills** - will be provided by our team of six Pharmacists, each of whom have many years of experience to impart.

**Under the supervision of our Pharmacists, you will be involved in all aspects of our Pharmacy to give you comprehensive and highly sought after skills for future positions. This will include**:

- Dispensing
- Counselling
- DAA Preparation
- Community Pharmacy Professional Programs
- Management of appropriate areas

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Currently hold a Certificate III in Community Pharmacy _OR_ have previous experience in a similar role (_min pay rate only applies to CERT III holders_)
- Be motivated to continue to learn and expand your knowledge
- Have a passion for patient-centred care and improving the health of our community
- Have empathy and understanding when dealing with our customers and fellow staff
- Display enthusiasm and enjoyment for your profession and position
- Participate in and contribute to regular staff meetings
- Be professional, accurate and timely in all areas of your duties
- Practise, in accordance with all legislation required in our profession and our own internal policies and procedures
- Be flexible in your hours with a rotating fortnightly roster - which will involve some weekend work
