Sydney, Australia Fit Futures Full time

Fit Futures are leaders in sports education and due to continued growth; we are currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coaches to provide hands on sports coaching and run our PDHPE programs (i.e. Athletics, FMS, Dance, Gymnastics, and Ball Skills) at a Primary School in Sydney Area.

**Responsibilities**

Include but are not limited to:

- Oversee day-to-day teaching, learning and instruction.
- Continue to coach and teach in schools.
- Instructing students in the delivery of various physical education curriculum components
- Planning, creating and implementing high quality age appropriate lessons for primary school children.
- Coordinating and organising inter school competitions and carnivals
- Instruction to other staff members in lesson planning and delivery
- Coaching staff and developing lesson plans that allow staff all areas of the curriculum.
- Use the FF brand to set up community sports links with soccer athletics and other sports.
- Teach in schools allocated each term following lesson plans, to teach the outcomes and learning objectives, delivering the PDHPE syllabus and assessing the children each term
- To monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key learning areas
- Implement strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes. Maintain records of student progress
- Use Fit Futures curriculum reports to aid assessment and ensure you know the syllabus outcomes
- Be responsible for adding all assessment data on the Fit Futures drive on time.
- Work closely with the Fit Futures team and with the school Principal and organising teacher.

**Requirements**:

- 1 year of previous coaching experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Punctuality and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Fun, energetic, thoughtful, and ambitious.

Preferred but not required:

- Gymnastics/Athletics/FMS/Ball Skills teaching experience: 1 year
- Level 1 or higher coaching accreditation in Gymnastics and Athletics particularly.
- Driver's License and own transport
