A great opportunity exists for a Experienced Payroll officer to process 2 weekly pay runs for 2 usinesses with a combination of Permanent and Casual Field staff.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, and working with the Managing Director you will be a motivated self-starter with a strong attention to detail who can work collaboratively to support a busy team and and communicate issues as they arise.
- A sound working background in the end to end payroll function
- Experience in Xero Payroll (or similar)
- Award Interpretation exp for accurate calculations.
- Previous experience in labour hire or community services dealing with Complex NDIS

It is also imperative that you are able to produce accurate information to the financial controller for Reporting to non-financial staff to assist the sales and financial functions of the businesses.
**The Role**
- Process weekly payroll for around 70-90 people weekly ( always changing )
- Invoicing
- Monthly superannuation processing
- Accounts payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Account Debt Collection ( good Phone manner is essential )
- Daily bank Reconciliations
- Month end processing and reporting
- Assist with business compliance and sales reporting

**The skills you need are**
- **Previous Payroll processing experience**:

- Minimum of Certificate IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping (or similar)
- Experience and proficiency with Xero
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to different stakeholders within the business
- Highly motivated and have the ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Able to identify issues and suggest improvements
- Experience working on the NDIS Portal/aged or disability sector would be an advantage
- Adaptability across various software systems
- The ability to handle change and be agile as required
