**About the role**
The Strategic Initiative Leader is pivotal in our organisation, supporting the successful delivery of organisational, regional, and local growth initiatives. This role spearheads critical strategic initiatives, playing a key role in shaping the future of our company. By leading and coordinating cross-functional teams, the Strategic Initiative Leader ensures the achievement of strategic objectives.
They are accountable for developing and implementing comprehensive plans, identifying growth opportunities, and driving alignment with our long-term organisational goals.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Lead the development and articulation of strategic plans, goals, and initiatives in collaboration with senior management.
- Oversee the implementation of strategic projects and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Monitor and track progress on strategic initiatives, making necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
- Build strong working relationships with various departments and stakeholders to foster collaboration.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to drive alignment and seamless execution of initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between teams to ensure a unified approach to strategic goals.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to identify process bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement process improvement initiatives to drive effectiveness and achieve strategic objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic adjustments based on data insights
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organisation.
- Identify opportunities for new strategic initiatives that align with market trends and business goals.
- Oversee budget allocation and resource management for strategic initiatives.
**Requirements**:
We are looking for self-motivated individual who is, proactive, professional, innovative, and possesses a can-do attitude.
As a minimum you must have:
- Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organisational structures and build collaborative relationships.
- Strategic and forward-thinking mindset with a focus on driving innovation and growth.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals
- Inspires and motivates team members to excel and embrace strategic initiatives
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, project management processes and tools, data analysis software, and Microsoft Office suite.
