Greater Northern Community Services provides supports for adolescents and adults living with disabilities to reach their full potential. We work closely with our clients supporting them with daily self-care activities, attending appointments, community access with the focus on encouraging and promoting active, healthy and positive lifestyle choices.

**The Role**

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Female Outreach/Support Worker to assist a 54-year-old woman living with her son in Ringwood. She is new to the area and requires support with community access, transport to appointments, and day-to-day tasks. This role is perfect for someone with a person-centred approach, who is energetic and excited to make a difference in people’s lives and is passionate about the work they do.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with community access and social activities
- Providing transport to appointments
- Helping with daily tasks and light household duties
- Weekly cleaning support (TBC)
- Ensuring the participant feels supported and empowered

**Work Hours**:

- Monday to Friday: 4 hours per day
- 2-3 Saturdays per month

**Remuneration**

You will be paid Fortnight at the rate of below (+Super)

**Weekdays**
- Weekdays (6:00am to 8:00pm): $35.01
- Weekdays Selfcare (6:00am to 8:00pm): $45.00
- Weekday evenings (8:00pm to 12:00am): $38.51
- Weekday Nights (12:00am to 6:00pm): $39.21

**Weekends**
- Saturdays (anytime): $49.02
- Sundays (anytime): $63.02

**Public Holidays**
- Public Holidays (anytime): $77.03

**Allowances**
- Sleepover: $130
- Mileage (per km)): $0.99
- Travel: Negotiable

**Eligibility Criteria**
- Relevant work experience in Disability
- Relevant qualification in Disability or Aged Care or Individual Support
- Willingness to accept short shifts
- Working with Children’s Check
- NDIS worker screening check
- Current First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID004) and CPR (HLTAID001) certificate
- National Police Check
- Full Australian Driver licence
- The right to work in Australia

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $35.01 per hour

Schedule:

- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
