Retail Security Officer

Sydney, Australia 3M Security Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor store entrances and exits to prevent theft and unauthorized access
- Patrol store aisles
- Respond to and investigate alarms and incidents
- Identify and report suspicious behavior or activity
- Assist customers and staff with any security-related issues
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in retail security or law enforcement preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential security risks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Sydney, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- 1AC Security licence (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
