Redfield College currently has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified **Pathways Leader/Secondary TAS Teacher **to join in a full-time capacity. In this role, the successful incumbent will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Pathways Programme for the College.
Joining a dedicated, professional, and collaborative team, the successful incumbent will need to confidently demonstrate prior experience in the implementation and successful management of a Pathways and Careers Programme within a Secondary School environment. This role will have a delegated reporting line to the Director of Teaching and Learning, and the Director of Curriculum for academic reporting relating to the VET Programme.
Specifically, responsibilities of the role will include:
- Creation and successful implementation of a Pathways Program including external VET qualifications
- Sourcing appropriate off-campus VET and RTO opportunities for students.
- Providing students and parents with information regarding VET, apprenticeships, and traineeships
- Identification of and working with prospective VET programme students, including the management of VET enrolments and monitoring student progress in VET units of competency and qualifications
- Organisation of career events to provide timely and appropriate information to students, parents, and staff
Personally, you will need to bring to the role:
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to establish a professional rapport with students, staff, and the school community at all levels
- Display the highest ethical and professional behaviour and standards when working with students, parents, and school staff members
- Ability to build a unified and effective team
- Ability to introduce and execute ideas to enhance our Secondary school
- Ability to manage pastoral care issues with effective discussion and processes with staff, students, and parents
- Support the values and ethos of the school
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to meet deadlines
- A short cover letter addressing the selection criteria and stating why you wish to work in this role within Redfield College
- An updated CV, confirming your skills, education, qualifications, and work history.
- A list of at least two referees with contact details.
