Floor Finisher

TERMI Home & Commercial Toowoomba is looking for an experienced Floor Finisher for existing and upcoming projects in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs area.
**Duties & Responsibilities of the Floor Finisher**:
- Studies drawings, work plans and specifications to identify flooring requirements and appropriate materials
- Measures and cuts flooring materials such as timber, vinyl, cork, or carpet to fit designated areas
- Installs flooring by fixing, gluing, or securing materials onto prepared surfaces
- Operates tools and machinery to cut, shape, and finish flooring products
- Smooths, sands and polishes surfaces to achieve the required finish and texture
- Applies stains, sealants, or protective coatings to enhance durability and appearance
- Repairs, replaces or restores damaged flooring sections as needed
- Ensures all work meets safety regulations and quality standards
- Provides advice to clients on maintenance and care of finished floors
**Qualification/Skills Required**:
- Certificate IV in Flooring Technology, or Certificate III in Flooring Technology with on-the-job training or 2 years post qualification experience, or
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a skilled Floor Finisher
- Good practical skills
- The ability to follow design plans
- Accuracy and attention to detail
Pay: $76,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
