The Parkville EMR is a world-class system shared by The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Royal Women’s Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and The Royal Children’s Hospital to support high-quality, seamless healthcare in Parkville and improve health outcomes for Victorians

Implemented in August 2020, the EMR is used by more than 15,000 clinicians and staff across the four health services and is delivered in partnership with Epic, a global leader in health information technology

**About the role**
- Assist RMH to maximize access to clinical and operational data from the EMR.
- Utilise data from the EMR to assess and feedback performance across each of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards to local areas and National Standards Committees
- Develop knowledge of the Epic EMR environment including functional capabilities and data models
- Be responsible for building and deploying reports which includes Epic reports & dashboards
- Complete successful Epic certification in reporting
- Manage the triage of reporting requests and development, testing and deployment of reports as needed. Ensure that the end users can utilise, interpret and analyse reports to maximise the benefits of the system
- Validate data against known metrics and statutory reporting requirements to ensure the highest degree of data accuracy, data quality and integrity

**Your Contribution**
- Develop knowledge of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and assist the RMH in developing ways to monitor compliance in the EMR
- Complete successful Epic certification in reporting and clinical data models
- Ability to work in a team based environment with individual and shared deliverables
Strong knowledge of relational databases (2 years minimum)
- Strong analytical and innovative problem solving skills
