**About the Role**:
**Position: Payroll Officer (Part-Time)**
**Location**: Capalaba Qld
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM
**Employment Type**: Part-Time
**Start Date**: Immediate

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Payroll Processing**: Accurately process payroll for 400 to 500 employees using **KeyPay/Employment Hero**, ensuring compliance with all relevant industrial awards and regulations.
- **Compliance**: Ensure adherence to industrial awards, workplace agreements, and legislative requirements, including tax and superannuation obligations.
- **Reporting**: Generate and review payroll reports, address discrepancies, and provide insights for payroll-related matters.
- **Employee Queries**: Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions with professionalism and confidentiality.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including leave entitlements, salary adjustments, and other employee data.
- **System Maintenance**: Oversee the smooth operation of payroll systems, implement updates, and troubleshoot any issues.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with HR and Finance teams to support broader organizational objectives and ensure seamless payroll integration with other systems.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes, industrial awards, and employment legislation.
- **Expertise**: Proficiency in **KeyPay/Employment Hero** is essential.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of industrial awards, tax regulations, superannuation, and relevant legislation.
- **Skills**: Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
