We are currently seeking experienced and committed **Disability Support Workers **to provide a variety of support which may include: community outing, personal care, meal preparation, domestic assistance (cleaning), transport for some of our elderly clients during a variety of daytime shifts. This is an immediate start position. **Please note this role is to support some of our clients located in the GEELONG area.**

Applicants must be experienced with a responsible attitude. The successful applicant will be expected to have a good understanding of how to support our elderly clients. You must be passionate about helping others to maintain their quality of life and independence. You will need to be compassionate and empathetic with strong listening and communication skills. Your ability to connect with people will be valuable. **Knowledge of the CROATIAN language is a great asset.**

**Qualifications & Experiences**
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Valid Driver Licence
- Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support or relevant
- _knowledge of the Croatian language is a great asset_

**Key Responsibilities & Duties for Disability Support Worker**
- Provide individualised support and assistance to our elderly clients using a supportive and positive approach
- Some personal care and meal preparation may be required
- Provide support and transport to our clients for community outings
- Motivate and promote client independence
- Make sure our client is HAPPY

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour
