**Blast Hole Drillers** to join the IMC team, and to be a part of something BIG

Reporting to the Drill and Blast Superintendent, our Blast Hole Drillers conduct safe and effective operation of drills, ensure compliance to drilling designs is adhered to and accurately record daily work for reporting purposes. In addition to assisting the maintenance fitters and blast crew teams if and where required.

**Essential to the role**:

- Previous and proven drilling experience in a hard rock mining environment.
- Experience operating top hammer Sandvik DP1500i drill rigs or similar top hammer rigs - ie. Epiroc T45, Roc L7, CAT MD 5120.
- Basic mechanical repair skills.
- Current WA Dangerous Goods Security Card or ability to obtain (desirable).
- Current drivers’ licence.
- Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months of issue date).
- Previous exposure to hot work environments.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Safe use & operation of drill rigs.
- Ensuring compliance to drilling designs.
- Accurate recording of daily work tasks.
- Conducting basic daily drill rig servicing & maintenance.
- Assistance to the maintenance fitter if required.
- Assistance on blast crew at times if required.
