ANU has an international reputation for research and education relevant to the health and well-being of the population of Australia, as well as that of the developing world. This is achieved through discovery research, applied research in health service settings, research-led teaching in health and medical sciences, and the translation of research findings into practice and policy. The ANU College of Health and Medicine comprises the Research School of Psychology, the ANU Medical School, the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the Research School of Population Health. These schools work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels.

**Position overview**:
The Research Officer’s role is to provide research support for two new studies: an NHMRC-funded longitudinal study examining the development of suicidal behaviour and recovery, and an MRFF-funded clinical trial which involves the co-design and evaluation of a program to support help seeking and reduce stigma in workplaces. The Research Officer will support the projects by contributing to study protocols, providing information for study participants, contributing to the facilitation of focus groups, liaising with the research team, contributing to data management and analysis, contributing to analysis and reporting of qualitative and quantitative outcomes, contributing to literature reviews, and contributing to research papers. We are seeking a highly organised individual with research training and experience, along with lived experience of mental health issues, either personally or as a carer/family member/friend, and a willingness to use this expertise to contribute to research.
