**About Us**
Brighton Auto provides a smooth pathway for individuals opting to enter the workforce within the automotive sector. Brighton Auto are currently servicing Mitsubishi, Hyundai, MG, SsangYong & Holden in Elsternwick and offer training on the latest technology in our start-of-the-art workshop.
**The Role**
You will be assisting with maintaining, servicing, and repairing motor cars and related mechanical components in the workshop.
- Carry out workshop and apprentice duties allocated by the Workshop Supervisor
- Keep work bay, bench, and toolbox clean and tidy at all times
- Develop and maintain personal tool kit to ensure efficiency
- Work under supervision until such time as Workshop Supervisor acknowledges your competency to work unsupervised
- Carry out quality repair and service work, in a time acceptable to the Workshop Supervisor
- Ensure that repair times and description of work carried out are recorded on the job card clearly and accurately according to dealership procedures
- Identify and return exchange parts to Parts as per dealership policy
- Check for and report any damage found before working on a vehicle
- Immediately report any damage caused to a vehicle, whilst in your care and any damage to the workshop, workshop equipment or special tools
**About You**
- Technical skills
- Hands on approach
- Willingness to learn
- Good communications skills
- Face to face customer service experience - highly desirable
- Ability to meet deadlines & carry out instructions as required in a timely manner
- Able to comply with manufacturer and dealership repair processes, policies, and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment & contribute to dealership goals/targets
