**About The Role**

As a Housekeeping Team Leader at Quest Penrith, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. Our housekeepers are highly valued members of our team, and their efforts are vital to the overall success of our business. In this leadership role, you will not only oversee daily housekeeping operations but also play a key part in creating memorable guest experiences.
- Lead a team of housekeepers to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet Quest's high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Coordinate daily work schedules, manage rosters, and ensure optimal use of available labour.
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality and compliance with our Quest standards.
- Handle guest enquiries, lost property, and respond to housekeeping requests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
- Manage housekeeping stock and supplies to ensure efficient operations while controlling costs.
- Support the Executive Houskeeper in recruitment, training, and appraisals of housekeeping staff.
- Foster a positive work environment by leading team meetings, addressing staff concerns, and motivating your team.

- Experience in housekeeping within a hospitality setting (supervisory experience is a plus).
- Strong team management skills with a focus on staff training and development.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with guests and staff confidently in English.
- A proactive attitude with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $25.80 - $45.15 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Morning shift
- On call
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Housekeeping management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
