**About the role

The Assistant in Nursing assists with the provision of quality, safe person and family centred care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Work may be overseen by an Enrolled Nurse (EN).

About you

Beginning knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and the ability to seek assistance to appropriately manage patient-centre care requirements under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Supports and respects the multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively and demonstrating a commitment to achieve common goals.
Ability to communicate effectively in individual and group situations.
Ability to effectively prioritise and manage own time to meet expectations, with an enthusiastic, calm and flexible approach.

Mandatory Requirements:
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
