**About the role - Tester**
- **Maintain and service all Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to AS1851-2012**:

- **Installation of Portable Fire Systems and Equipment**:

- **Conduct routine inspection and servicing of Portable Fire Systems and Equipment**:

- **Liaise directly with the client regarding service work**:

- **Commit to workplace safety and good work practices**:

- **Excellent workmanship and attention to detail to meet the standards of our clients, company and industry**:

- **Excellent customer communication skills**:

- **Be able to work as part of a team and independently**:

- **Be productive to complete tasks within set time frames**:

- **Hold a Construction Induction (White) Card**:

- **Manual Drivers Licence**

**About the role - Fire Alarm Tech (FPA accredited / Licensed)**
- **Programming experience with the main FIP panels - AMPAC, Pertronics, Notifier, Tyco, Simplex**:

- **Experience with FIP/EWIS upgrades, installations, testing and commissioning**:

- **Testing monthly, 6 monthly and annuals.**:

- **Knowledge of applicable standards for Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.**:

- **Train other fire techs in detection systems/fault finding/programming/installs etc.**:

- **Liaise directly with the client regarding service work**:

- **Commit to workplace safety and good work practices**:

- **Excellent workmanship and attention to detail to meet the standards of our clients, company and industry**:

- **Excellent customer communication skills**:

- **Be able to work as part of a team and independently**:

- **Be productive to complete tasks within set time frames**:

- **Hold a Construction Induction (White) Card**:

- **Manual Drivers Licence**

- **Preferred but not necessary RISI induction**

**Daily Duties**
- **Routine Maintenance as per AS1851**:

- **Defect logging**:

- **Minor defects repairs**:

- **Installation of fire extinguishers / blankets**

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 40 per week

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Service technician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- FPA accredited / Licensed for FIP Tech (preferred)
- Manual Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

**Location**:
