**About the position**
We are looking for a detail oriented and highly proactive **Corporate General Manager** who will be responsible for effective functioning of the organisation the design, oversight and delivery of key organisational systems and strategies.
The Corporate General Manager is part of the Senior Executive Team and reports directly to the CEO. This role will also contribute to the identification of profitable business opportunities and assisting in the development of sustainable growth strategies.
**Key responsibilities**
**Business Development and Partnerships**:
- Identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities and partnership agreements in accordance with the organization's strategic plan.
- Ensuring the ethical and proper utilization of HCI resources, including intellectual and tangible property, in compliance with HCI policies and procedures.
- Providing monthly and ad hoc reports and advice on time with deviations from projected figures.
**Marketing and Enrolment**:
- Ensuring that HCI has effective marketing initiatives in place to achieve its enrolment targets.
- Establishing and managing a productive and robust agent network.
- Enhancing student enrolments through additional delivery locations and online/blended delivery.
- Developing new courses in partnership with universities and other higher education providers.
- Coordinate with Head, Marketing and Sales, create a marketing plan and oversee the implementation of monthly marketing activities in each campus, and evaluating the effectiveness of these initiatives to ensure adequate allocation of resources.
**Strategic Partnerships**:
- Contributing to the development and achievement of strategic partnership objectives and plans with various stakeholders in the industry.
**Recruitment and Performance Management**:
- Maintain understanding and awareness of the human resource requirements for each campus and evaluate the performance of these regularly.
- Providing timely and constructive feedback to rectify deviations and reporting issues to the Senior Executive Team and advising on performance improvement strategies.
- Working with Campus Managers and the Human Resources department to ensure that HCI's staff turnover ratio is less than 15% every year.
**Compliance**:
- Maintain full understanding of the standards and regulatory requirements of the various authorities of HCI.
- Coordinating with senior executive team prepare and implement relevant policy and procedure.
- Ensuring that all activities of HCI conform to the respective country/state laws and regulatory authority.
- Liaising with the Compliance team to ensure that HCI achieves 100% compliance in all areas of operation.
- Ensuring that all internal and external complaints/major non-conformances are escalated to the EMT and addressed in a timely manner as per the complaints and appeals policy or any other relevant policy.
**Financial Management**:
- Attaining HCI's monthly/quarterly financial targets as per the financial plan/Budget.
- Ensuring that HCI's national and international operations are carried out within the allocated/approved budget.
In addition to the above, as the Corporate General Manager you will be responsible for representing HCI at various official occasions, negotiations, seminars, and public hearings. This will require you to be an effective communicator and an expert in the field of education management, with the ability to negotiate and communicate HCI's positions to external stakeholders.
HCI is looking for experienced education management professional with a deep understanding of the regulatory framework governing the Vocational and higher education sector. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve HCI's strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and addressing internal and external complaints in a timely manner. They will also be responsible for representing HCI at official occasions, negotiations, conventions, seminars, public hearings, and forums, and liaising between different areas of responsibility within the organization. Effective communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team, will be critical to their success in this role.
