**About the Opportunity**

We are currently seeking multiple
**Parts Administrator’s **to join our growing parts team, located in Daimler Adelaide. This is a full-time position
**on a 12-month contract **in a friendly environment, working Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to become permanent.

The purpose of the Parts Administrator / Clerk - Parts position is to receipt daily parts orders, process third party invoices and ensure stock orders are placed daily. This position will be responsible managing daily freight pick-slips and managing inventory in the warehouse when required.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Process parts returns, claim credits and core credits
- Monitor daily orders stock supply
- Monitor the core register
- Complete cyclic checking and data entry for this process
- Place daily and stock orders
- Receipt parts and ensure parts are allocated as needed
- Coordinate regular stock counts and audits
- Provide and monitor lost sales via end of month summary report
- Follow up on stock backorders, rejections and cancellations
- Monitor and report number of lines ordered (Daily vs Stock Orders) - Stock order ratio
- Data Entry
- Process stock returns
- Answer incoming calls
- Accounts Payable Data Entry
- Filing and receipting to be carried out where necessary
- All stock returns are to be credited and returned to the supplier in a timely manner
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes
- Manage the training register
- Providing reports and data on parts metrics
- Ensure all paperwork and records of the Parts Department are kept in accordance with the VTC policies and procedures and that all the necessary statutory requirements are followed
- Promote a Safe Workplace and comply with all Occupational, Health, Safety and Welfare policies and Procedures
- Assist in maintaining a clean and efficient Parts department in line with WHS Housekeeping Policy
- Comply with all VTC/Manufacturer parts policies and procedures
- Review and analyse performance results, taking corrective action when necessary
- Continue to improve position practices and processes
- Recommend any improvements that could be made to the Parts Manager
- Achieve maximum Customer service level
- Previous administration experience
- Thorough knowledge of computer-based inventory systems
- Well-developed inventory management skills
- Ability to use instructions and documentation
- Experience in using software and information technology to accomplish one's work
- Good team skills to be able to work with others
- Ability to fully carry out instructions
- Ability to multitask
- Good knowledge of record-keeping
- Listening and communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with different audiences
- Providing service excellence to internal and/or external customers
- Dealing with situations and issues proactively and persistently, seizing opportunities that arise
- Understanding the need and the importance in finding customer solutions.
- Working collaboratively with others to achieve Velocity Truck Centre goals.
