Timber Yard Person

We currently require a multi skilled Timber Yard Orderman - full time position.

To be considered for this position you will require:
Minimum 2 years experience in the timber or affiliate industry with a valid forklift and car licence

Able to assemble and pack / strap Timber orders accurately for collection or transport

Having some Carpentry / cabinet making / furniture making / solid timber skills would be a major advantage to dress,cut, sand and value add our Timber products.including Bench tops ,stair Treads and large Timber Slabs.

Be physically fit, energetic and enjoy some manual labour for order assembly.

Experience with using tools, chainsaw, powers saw,docking and Bench saws ,routers ,jigsaws ,thicknessers ,sanders ,taking measurements and cutting accurately as per specification

Ability to drive a small body truck with car license for order pick ups and deliveries and forklift driving experience.

Clerical and numeracy skills with the ability to read and interpret paperwork & customer orders

Customer service-serving customers ,phone sales back-up and quoting

Ability to follow instructions with good communication skills and work within a small team
- On the job training will be provided.

Full time position 40hr week -Mon - Fri 7.30 - 4.00 pm

Plus possible Saturday morning hours available

**Salary**: $24.26 - $34.97 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
