Exciting Opportunity for Social Workers in NSW
The SINC Social Worker position offer an exciting opportunity for a social worker with extensive experience or as new graduate looking to start their careers.
The position is offering an opportunity to work throughout the Sapphire and Eurobodalla Coasts (including Batemans Bay and surrounds and Bega and surrounds) to support our aged care clients to remain independent in their own homes and active within their communities.
We are currently looking for a Social Worker to join our team in the Seniors in Networking Community Program to deliver Commonwealth Home Support Funded Allied Health Services to seniors living in their own homes in the community.
The Role
This service delivers social work services to older people throughout areas of NSW, working both with individuals and with groups to assist older people to regain or maintain their independence.
The role offers a variety of work environments, with interventions taking place in individual’s homes and in the wider community.
The key responsibilities for the SINC Social Worker will be to work with older people who have been referred by My Aged Care to the SINC Program for Allied Health Services. Our SINC Social Workers focus on, person centred, wellness and reablement and works within a restorative care framework providing individualised support and interventions to assist people with being able to remain in their homes and as part of their community.

Ideal person
**The ideal person we are looking for has**:
Tertiary qualification in Social Work - eligible for membership to the AASW
Experience supporting individuals who are aging, or in a relevant sector
Experience coordinating supports or utilising flexibility and innovation to respond to changing and / or complex needs to achieve individual goals
Exceptional communication and time management skills
Understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Work, Health & Safety and Confidentiality
You will also be required to undergo a National Police Check.
