- **Allowance**:Level 2 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance - $2,622.36 per annum.
- **Total Package**: $73,772.00

**The Opportunity**

Strathfield Council is seeking a reliable and motivated Street Sweeping Team Member for a new position within a new team.

The role involves delivering high-quality street sweeping services across the Municipality, to help keep our Municipality clean and safe. In this practical, hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering daily street sweeping services, operating equipment safely, and supporting continuous service improvement as part of a dedicated team.

**Essential Requirements**
- A current Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to work early shift and flexible hours as required.
- Ability to communicate to a level that enables the accurate interpretation of instructions.
- Ability to work co-operatively as part of a team and independently without close supervision.
- Possess and maintain a level of physical fitness sufficiently to undertake the activities of the role.
- Demonstrated commitment to a self-directed work environment and ability to take initiative to ensure gainful and productive work for each working day.
- Understanding of and commitment to quality customer service.

**Desirable**
- Certificate for General Construction Induction (CIC - White Card) NSW.
- Experience in the use of handheld equipment, operation and driving the full range of street cleaning equipment, plant and trucks.
- Experience in driving various vehicles and plant for operation.
- Experience in Traffic Control Work.
