**About the role** -**As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will:

**About you** -**To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in Japanese & Religious Education as well as:

- Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
- Commitment to child safety
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven organisational skills
- Experience with, or an interest in, Middle Years Philosophy will be highly regarded
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes
- Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.

**At BCE our teachers are required to**:

- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

**Holy Spirit College is a Catholic co-educational secondary school located in the rapidly developing suburb of Fitzgibbon in North Brisbane, approximately 15km from Brisbane City. The College opened in January 2022 with 96 Year 7 students and will increase by one year level each year until it reaches Year 12. As at 2025, we have approximately 475 students from Years 7-10.**
