**The role**:
Our Customer Lending Solutions function covers all type of lending including simple and complex loans, increases, decreases and renewals. The role has direct accountability for input quality, file compliance, operational efficiency, customer NPS and time to decision for all B&PB initiated lending aligned to our Private Wealth, Private Direct & Private Broker customers.

As the Manager, Customer Lending Solutions you will be responsible for leading and empowering your leaders to develop, support and uplift the capability of our Associates to support bankers to deliver a superior customer service for all lending transactions.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Lending Solutions - Private, you will lead and drive operational efficiency, productivity and ensure we meet our risk and compliance obligations whilst supporting our customers to achieve their goals. You will drive and deliver initiatives and transformation projects to ensure the best experience for our people and customers.

This role is key to enable the B&PB business performance and growth by creating a customer focused service excellence culture, supporting bankers in meeting customer needs and driving an effective and efficient operations.

**As a Manager CLS (Private) you will be responsible for**:

- Running an effective and efficient customer focused lending services team with operational excellence disciplines
- Deliver high level of service excellence
- Developing strong relationships with key Private Wealth stakeholders
- Proactive daily monitoring of workforce and queues to ensure optimised flow
- Support functions cost and service performance targets
- Continued capability uplift of team
- Continuous improvement focus
- Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to process and procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance).
- Lead, coach and motivate team to achieve business and personal goals

**What you will bring**

You are a leader of leaders and have an innate ability and passion to deliver positive customer outcomes at speed and quality within set budgets and planning requirements. Additionally, you can demonstrate:

- Knowledge and experience of Business/Home lending processes and/or strong Credit Assessment expertise
- Experience delivering change, transformation projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of policy and verification requirements
- A depth of experience in Business & Private Banking
- Proven financial analysis capability
- Understanding of risk obligations and knowledge of how to replicate compliance
- Strong coaching and influencing skills
- Highly organised and able to work to agreed deadlines
