**About us**

YK Education was founded by an NSW Qualified High School teacher with the vision of putting students at the centre of their education by catering to their individual needs. If there are thirty students in the class, there should be thirty modified lessons.

The YK Method combines private tutoring and small group sessions so that we can cater to every student’s unique educational needs and struggles. There are pros and cons to private and group tuition so we've developed a program where students can experience the best of both

**Position - Tasks & responsibilities**
- Teach English (Y7 to Y12) to high school students in both private and small group environments on Monday and/or Tuesday afternoons
- Teach at our office in St Leonards
- Collaboratively decide on resources for the term to assist and differentiate for EALD students
- Undergo Tutor training course to understand values and systems at YK Education to maintain consistency in teaching
- Must be able to commit until the end of the year

**Qualifications & experience**
- Qualified and experience HSC EALD teachers in the NSW school system
- Ability to heavily scaffold and differentiate for students who have just graduated the IEC and are aiming for top band results in the HSC
- BONUS if you can speak or understand Japanese

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour
