Purpose of the role:
- Build out webpages and content, via Drupal CMS, ready for testing and publication.
- Alignment of digital channels with strategies arising from the Agency, Division, Communications and Marketing and Digital Team, including integrated communication campaigns and cross-channel/omnichannel approaches.
- Optimise content so it enhances the profile and brand of the Agency.
- Alignment of Agency digital channels with the Agency Service Standard criteria, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, and other related criteria.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to web pages for review and sign off, as well as support BAU web content updates.
Duties of the role:
- Provide evidence-based advice on improving digital platforms and channels using analytics and reporting.
- Implement research and customer insights to improve customer satisfaction and product usage
- Provide advice on reputation management and risk profiling across digital channels.
- Delivery the program of work within the account service model, the agreed timeframe, budget, and governance framework.
- Provide expertise and technical knowledge in specialist area across a range of programs or activities for the agency.
- Provide accurate and specialised advice including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management.
- Ensure knowledge of and compliance with legislative, financial, and administrative frameworks, government decision-making processes and agency guidelines and regulations.
- Set priorities for the work area, maintain team cohesion, and ensure quality of outputs for the work area.
- Contribute to the development of team objectives for short term tasks and strategic planning for longer-term initiatives.
- Contribute to managing change and uncertainty in the workplace.
- Propose and facilitate innovation initiatives and contribute to business improvement strategies and to change in workplace practices.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management and risk assessment activities within sphere of responsibility.
- Follow all agency policies, procedures and instructions and take reasonable care for your own health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace.
- Awareness and ability to adapt within the dynamic Agency environment
- Manage the publication of content to the Agency website to agreed internal and WCAG AA standards
- Conduct quality control of content, digital assets and related metadata, following the Agency's publication standards and guidelines, to ensuring ahigh standard of presentation and accessibility of content
- Coordinate content publication that may originate from different Agency business units and/or internal and external stakeholders, with different authors and approvers, and facilitate cooperation between teams when necessary.
- Provide regular reporting on content availability and usage by monitoring access metrics and making recommendations for changes and improvements.
- Work with the team, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers (if necessary) to deliver improvements to the functionality provided by the website.
- Supporting the development of a culture of meaningful collaboration within the Agency to support the delivery of the Agency of its objectives and work program.
- Adhering to the Agency Values and Code of Conduct
- Produce work requiring little or no revision before finalisation.
- Make decisions, with direction from more senior staff, on tasks/assignments with considerable complexity and sensitivity.
- Make decisions using good judgement, expertise and knowledge, under limited guidance.
- Internal and external stakeholder management.
- Managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals.

Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
Qualifications in Marketing, Business, Copywriting, Digital Media Production or a related discipline or equivalent industry experience would be considered an advantage.
