Nike Merchandise Planner

Due to the continuous success and growth of our business, we have an exciting opportunity to join our **Support Office** team in **Brighton VIC** as our **NIKE Merchandise Planner.**

**Retail Prodigy Group** currently holds the master retail franchise for **Nike **stores across Australia and New Zealand and is the Lead Retail Operations Partner for the **Samsung **Experience Stores across Australia.

**The role**:
In this Nike Merchandise Planning role, you will play an integral part in converting customers to fans Your forecasting, analytical & planning skills will be put to good use to help keep our stores at an optimum stock level, creating an Ultimate Experience for our customers. Working alongside our buyers and providing guidance to our allocators, your job will be to build and maintain plans to ensure we are in stock of the right items at the right times in the rights stores, to help achieve our seasonal targets.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Provide leadership and guidance to the allocators.
- Work with buyers & allocators to maintain capacity levels in stores to ensure seasonal sales budgets are achieved.
- Maintain seasonal merchandise plans that achieve stock capacity targets & details available spend for replenishment of core and seasonal styles.
- Update and manage in-season Open To Buy (OTB), ensuring that allocators stay within the monthly figure.
- Stock levels maintained across key styles and issues identified and communicated.
- Plan, monitor and communicate our delivery plan to ensure stores receive the right amount at the right time, over both the short and medium term.
- Work with Nike to align on and achieve monthly shipment plan.
- Manage Launch Calendar and monitor deliveries to ensure high heat merchandise arrives on time, working with the marketing team to ensure stores & customers have visibility to drive sell through.
- Determine returns value to be chased each month through discussions with merchandise & finance leads, and work with buyers to ensure targets are met.
- Deliver the Ultimate Customer Experience to our stores by quickly responding to store tickets and queries.
- Build strong relationships with stores & area managers, maintaining regular communication around deliveries, stock levels and performance.
