Mayfield Early Learning Centre (MELC) is a privately owned and operated Centre, awarded Exceeding by NQF. We provide long day care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years to Mayfield and the surrounding areas.

Our aim at MELC is to provide high-quality education and care supported by safe, welcoming, and nurturing environments following best practice guidelines.

Our dedicated staff embody professionalism and maintain the Centre's values and philosophy through providing children with stimulating, educational and enjoyable play-based experiences and environments.

We are currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic educators to join our team.
The following criteria is based on level of qualification.

**Diploma**:

- An approved Diploma level qualification in Children's Services as identified by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority
- Child protection qualification
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a cohesive, professional, and caring team
- A high level of self-motivation
- Strong leadership skills
- Flexibility with shifts between Monday - Friday

A Demonstrated understanding of:

- National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting
- Workplace Health and Safety issues and practices

Early Childhood Teacher:

- ACECQA Approved Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Provide leadership in delivering high quality and inclusive learning programs
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
- Outstanding level of verbal and written communication
- Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
- A demonstrated understanding of Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting
- A demonstrated understanding of Workplace Health and Safety issues and practices
- Strong IT Skills
- Experience implementing and evaluating indoors and outdoors programs
- Flexibility with shifts between Monday - Friday
- Strong overall leadership skills

- Flexible and reliable
- Focused on positive child, family and community relationships
- Able to work collaboratively within a team of highly experienced educators
- Experienced within an Early Childhood setting
- Expected to work any shifts from Monday - Friday between 6:45am and 6:00pm.
- Paid according to the Children’s Services Award.

Also looking for casuals who are reliable and able to work flexible hours.
