**About the role**

We are currently seeking a **qualified Electrical Supervisor** **(Electrician)** to join our Delta FM QLD team. You will work with our committed Delta FM maintenance team at the **Queensland Children’s Hospital** and be responsible for the adequate design and execution of electrical work, ensuring that the correct materials are supplied.

You’ll ensure that electrical maintenance planning and scheduling, including management of in-house technical resources and subcontractors. You will also effectively manage reactive breakdowns prioritising critical services to meet site & client KPI’s.

**Key duties**
- Responsible for managing the continued operation of integrated electrical systems inside the QLD Children’s Hospital healthcare precinct
- Prioritising breakdowns as required.
- Lead and develop an effective team of electricians
- Operational Support to QLD Health BEMS department
- Managing & tracking works orders through the computerised maintenance system (CMMS)
- Liaise with clients in terms of completion of works and future works, including scoping and quoting for minor works, and lifecycle replacement/upgrades.
- Make arrangements for electrical hazards to be removed, which could include arranging funding for work or equipment to complete the job
- Develop and maintain site-based plans, ensuring site ‘as built’ plans, Operations and Maintenance Manuals, policies and procedures are maintained
- Drive WHS compliance and best practice, ensuring that staff are familiar with WHS requirements and following safe work practices. We are a team that values and priorities safety.

**The Person**
- Trade qualified electrician with a valid QLD Electrical license
- 2-5 years post trade experience
- Previous experience within a supervisor or team leader role
- Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance/management desirable
- DALI/NEXUS experience desirable
- Willing to obtain a National Police Check Clearance and provide evidence of immunity against a variety of vaccine preventable diseases (including COVID)
