About the Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently, safely, and confidently in their homes and communities. This position involves a combination of personal care, household assistance, and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide respectful and attentive personal care (e.g. hygiene, dressing, grooming) tailored to individual needs
- Assist with domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Foster positive relationships through active listening, empathy, and companionship
- Promote independence and self-esteem through consistent, strengths-based support
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in client needs to supervisors
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by following infection control and workplace health and safety practices

Preferred (but not essential):

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or Diploma of Community Services
- Minimum 6 months experience in disability or aged care
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport with comprehensive insurance

Essential Requirements:

- Must be available for immediate start
- A genuine commitment to supporting people with disabilities to live fulfilling lives
- Valid Police Check, Working With Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation and Infection Control modules

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
