**Your New Role**:
The Project Analyst, Herston Quarter is responsible for working with the Herston Quarter Commercial Team to assist with various financial and commercial matters. Reporting to the Project Financial Manager and working closely with the Australian Unity finance team, the role will focus on ensuring purchase orders are raised within Australian Unity guidelines and invoices are paid on time.

This role will work closely with the Commercial Team on the preparation of commercial contracts, reconciliations, and monthly reports and provide key support to the wider Herston Quarter team including Development Managers, Marketing and Communications operatives and the Development Director.

**Your New Role Looks Like This**:

- Implementation of accounts payable processes including the creation of purchase requisitions, invoice uploading, invoice receipting and weekly batching
- Monitoring purchase order spend against commitments
- Support and preparation of commercial letters, notices, and month end reports
- Day to day implementation of public realm activities including event contract administration, service contracts implementation and reporting
- Provide support reconciling Building Management Services accounts payable and invoices
- Be the primary point of contact for suppliers, consultants, and contractors in relation to accounts payable, purchase orders and invoicing

**About You**:

- Degree in Accounting or Commerce
- Experience working in property development or project accounting preferred but not essential
- One to two years post qualification experience in either accounting firm or in house finance team
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrate excellent capability in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to implement systems and processes
