PHE are on the lookout for experienced Boilermakers/Welders to join us on a 2:1 roster in the Northern Territory.

This is a FIFO role:

- Working with Electricians for all Electrical Boilermaker needs
- Completion of projects to deliver continuous and safety improvements for the maintenance teams
- Work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment
- Role commences late June

ABOUT YOU
- Excellent attitude to safety
- Flexible attitude to work with all our crews
- Are able to pass a full medical and fitness test
- Previous experience in underground mining is preferred but not essential

You will have the following skills and qualifications;
- Australian recognised trade qualification - Boilermaker (fabrication)
- 5 years’ experience working in a mining/heavy industrial environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and develop simple mark ups
- Hold a current Australian driver’s license
- Current Working at Heights certificate
- EWP
- White or blue construction card
- Previous experience working in/with electrical teams will be an advantage but not essential
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment checksABOUT US:

- Tumut 1 & Tumut 2 Power Station Transformer and Line Protection Upgrades
