- **About The Role**:
- As our HR Business Partner, you’ll be a trusted advisor and a key link between our people, leaders, and the wider organisation. You’ll shape and deliver people initiatives that bring our Council’s values and strategic goals to life — ensuring everything we do aligns with best practice, legislative frameworks, and our commitment to an inclusive, high-performing workplace.
- You’ll also provide leadership and guidance to the Talent Acquisition Business Partner for your respective Directorate, ensuring alignment of talent, workforce planning and HR initiatives that support both organisational and community goals.
- You’ll partner closely with Senior Managers to provide both strategic and hands-on HR support across the employee lifecycle — from workforce planning and capability development to change management and employee engagement. Your expertise in building relationships and influencing outcomes will help leaders navigate complex people matters with confidence, strengthen team performance, and drive a positive workplace culture that supports our community-focused mission.
- **Who We're Looking For**:
- We’re seeking a forward-thinking HR professional who combines strategic insight with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach. You’re someone who thrives on collaboration and builds trust easily.- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with equivalent experience.
- A current Driver’s Licence.
- Extensive background in HR functions such as performance management, change management, and industrial relations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.- Join our Team and Grow with Us- **Interview date**:Interviews will be facilitated within 2 weeks of the closing date
- **Hours of work**:Permanent Full Time. You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system.
