Causal Worker

Female Support Workers Wanted - Northern Gold Coast & Logan Reserve
- Must be willing to do 2-hour shifts if required.
- Must have good clear English due to hearing impairment.
- Must be comfortable with cats

This position is a **Casual Position starting with 5-10 hours per week with the potential for more hours but not guaranteed.**

To be successful for this position you must have the following:

- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker screening check
- Police Check
- First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Orientation Modules (Orientation & Effective Communication)
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- **Experience preferred; additional training will be provided**. (No formal qualifications are required)

**Job Role**

As a disability support worker, you will be required to assist clients in and out of their own homes with daily life activities such as personal care, meal preparation and domestic assistance.

You may be required to provide support with some of the following:

- Personal Care (Showering, bathroom assistance & grooming)
- Medication Monitoring - (We provide training and certificate)
- Domestic Assistance (Light Housework, shopping and light yard work)
- Meal Preparations
- Social Support both in home and in the community
- Transport to and from appointments
- Mental Health Support

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Police Check (preferred)
