**Role: Disability Support Worker (Female Only) | Location: Wollongong**

AAA Nursing Agency is a leading Support Worker Agency that provides the best-fit Disability Support Workers to Disability Service providers across Australia.

We are currently seeking Support Workers to support people in SIL, & respite services across the Nowra & Wollongong Region**.**

**Overview of the Role**:

- We have opportunities to support people with high behaviours and intellectual disabilities in SIL arrangements & respite services.
- 24-hour care model, meaning staff are required to work a combination of shifts - morning, afternoon and overnight shifts.
- Assist participants with the range of personal activities including hygiene support, medication assistance, manual handling, domestic assistance & meals.
- Following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP).

Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities.
- Support people within both group settings and 1:1 and 2:1 arrangements.
- Use a company vehicle and/or your own vehicle to transport participants to community-based outings.

- Work with a variety of participants, in a variety of support arrangements.
- $150 referral incentive, for each successful referral (Subject to Terms & Conditions).

**What You Need**:

- Completed or currently studying a Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant)
- Australian Driver's License.
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for Paid Employment.
- National Police Check (Obtained within the last 6 months or willing to apply)
- NDIS Worker E-learning Modules.
- Reliable Smart Phone with Data.

**Job Type**: Subcontract

**Salary**: $31.00 - $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
