**Explore our roles below**:

- _Aviation Technician_:
Be responsible for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft systems, equipment and components, including, transmissions, engine systems, aircraft structure and flight control systems.
- _Electronics Technician_:
Maintain, diagnose and repair state-of-the-art technology and military hardware, onboard ships or submarines and ashore. You could be working with radars, sonars, satellite equipment, navigation aids, weapons systems, torpedo launchers and more.
- _Marine Technician_:
Operate, monitor and maintain engineering systems and machinery to ensure equipment and technical systems onboard ships or submarines run at optimum capacity.
- _Communications Operator_:
Keep your team in the know by managing, analysing and monitoring communications and signals, and exchanging classified information for Navy operations and missions.
- _Networks Operator_:
Keep your ship connected and secure through systems administration, maintenance, and operation of advanced ICT networks.
- _Weapons & Sensors Operator_:
Specialise in collecting and analysing sensor information and using combat data systems to make recommendations that inform tactical decisions and avoid potential threads
- _Submariner_:
There is also the option to specialise in some of these roles as a Submariner and be a part of the most exclusive and stable workforce in Australia. You will have a direct effect on Navy missions and operations at sea.

**Salary**:
Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, you’ll enjoy a salary package starting from $77,451 for surface fleet and $90,437 for submariners.

For these roles, you must be over 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen and have passed Year 10 with passes in English and Maths. Some positions may also require passes in Science.
