Industrial & Costing Management Controller

**About our role**:
Join Lactalis, a global leader in dairy products, as an Industrial & Costing Management Controller within our Beverages & Milk division. Based in South Brisbane office, this role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of our costing systems and supporting operational efficiency across our manufacturing sites. You’ll work closely with industrial, commercial, and procurement teams to drive process improvements, support budgeting activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. **Responsibilities include**:

- Maintain and update costing information including standard costs, NPDs, and master data.
- Drive process improvements in costing and industrial reporting.
- Execute end-of-month costing tasks accurately and on time.
- Facilitate national Cost of Sales (COS) budget creation with detailed cost movement analysis.
- Ensure accurate costings for new products and alignment with business cases.
- Collaborate with Planning to set up master data for material requirements and transport lanes.
- Support continuous improvement projects and consolidate savings trackers and site results.
- Provide backup support for other costing functions.
- Assist site controllers and accountants with variance resolution and budget completion.
- Cover site controller duties during absences as needed.

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business/Commercial Accounting, or Engineering (CA/CPA/CIMA/CFA preferred).
- Minimum 4 years in management control roles, ideally in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and with ERP systems, especially SAP.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- High integrity and ethical standards
- Strategic mindset with a proactive approach.
- Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
