**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Position**

We are seeking an energetic and safety conscious individual to join our Open Spaces team. Reporting to Council's Natural Resource Officer, you will assist in providing horticultural and arboriculture services that will enhance the living environment for our community. Key focus areas are to assist in undertaking inspections of trees and contribute to the determination of any required action, and to assist in general vegetation management throughout the shire.

As a Trainee Arborist, you will be studying a Certificate III Arboriculture which is estimated to take up to two years to complete.
