Position Summary
The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating, communicating, and managing our technical knowledge library. In this role, you will create technical documentation, including user documentation, such as how-to guides, integration guides, operation guides, product specifications, and tutorials; and internal developer documentation, including technical manuals, code diagrams, and API references. You will work closely with other technical experts, such as platform architects, analysts, software developers, and project managers, to ensure that the information they provide is accurate and easy to understand.
Your Responsibilities

- Develop a suite of document and information architecture templates to standardise the presentation of information
- Develop and maintain our language style guide to achieve consistency of language use and interpretation
- Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, that sets our users up for success
- Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
- Develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
- Design and develop learning materials and resources to transfer knowledge, develop skills and change behaviours
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation
- Evaluate and review current content and establish a system for continuous improvement of our information
- Identify all documentation repositories, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralised storage of information

Your Professional Capabilities
Qualifications / Accreditations
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines
Knowledge Management

- Maintains knowledge management systems and content to meet business needs.

- Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors simple programs/scripts.
