Cake Decorator

**Costco is a membership based warehouse club that is dedicated to bringing the best possible prices on quality brands and merchandise. With hundreds of locations worldwide, Costco provides a wide selection of merchandise, speciality departments and exclusive member services.**

**Daily tasks and responsibilities**:
Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service.
- Checks cake order stand for special orders.
- Pulls stock from freezer or cooler to fill merchandising area.
- Depans, garnishes and packages baked cheesecakes, seasonal pies and fruit tarts. Places finished product on racks and transfers racks to cooler, freezer or wrapping area.
- Checks production schedule for daily needs. Processes all cakes following assembly instruction in Cake Decorating Manual.
- Assists with other bakery duties as needed.
- Provides prompt and courteous member service.
- Keeps decorating area clean and clear of debris. Follows safety and security procedures.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position.
- Completes and complies with Costco policies of Quality Assurance, Food Safety certification and all safety training required by warehouse and department.

Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:

- Assists with front end duties as necessary.
- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
