**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
We require a Support Worker to partner with a Participant based in Slacks Creek, Qld. Our participant is an elderly male who suffered an acquired brain injury which is result of a motor vehicle accident.

This role is commencing as soon as possible and is casual on-going. He requires support Monday to Friday from 10am to 12pm.

Successful support workers will use initiative and be able to prompt where needed. For example - when house rubbish is full to be put in residential green bin, prompting / reminding him to take travel bag for outings etc.

**Pay Rate**:

- Day shift $36.25 per hour
- Travel Allowance $0.90 per km (applies on for medical related purposes)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with domestic tasks - general house, wheel chair and van cleaning.
- Assistance with moisturising legs and putting shoes on.
- Running errands such as picking up medications etc
- Community access + health and rehab appointments (lifting 24kg wheelchair to load into van).

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Australian Driver Licence
- Certificate 3 in Individual Support
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Blue Card
- Current Yellow Card
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Covid Vaccinations - double dose
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Infection Control Training - Covid19
- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
