Established for over 80 years, we manufacture Waterworks Fittings, Valves, Fire Protection Equipment and Castings for local and interstate industries.

We have a modern foundry and a well-equipped machine workshop. Our specialist machines include furnaces, sand mixers, a range of conventional, heavy-duty borers (Vertical & Horizontal), lathes, mills, and drills, etc. We have the capability and capacity to cast and machine finish a wide variety of products from a range of materials including standard ferrous iron alloys, non-ferrous bronze alloys, mild and stainless steels through to the specialised requirements of duplex steels and hardened abrasive white irons.

Currently we are looking for Mechanical Engineering Technician with appropriate experience to join our maintenance team at our NOR workshop.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Support the machine maintenance program.
- Perform routine and breakdown maintenance as per business and accreditation requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop area in accordance with OH&S policy.

**Essential Skills & Experience**
- _**Formal qualification**_ - Qualified Engineer (Civil or Mechanical),
- Demonstrable engineering experience:

- Project planning/scheduling
- Feasibility & Technical evaluations
- Engineering practices
- Procurement
- Ability to think laterally and problem solve

**Demonstrable practice in the following skills will be regarded favourably**
- Autocad training
- Practical use of jib cranes/forklift trucks
- Excellent organisational & time management skills
- Clear written & oral communication skills
- Team Player
- Punctual & reliable with a strong work ethic

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
